How to get to the Ippodromo di Capannelle |
The Ippodromo di Capanelle is situated in the south-eastern area of Rome.Other than sporting events, there have been many music events held at this meridian outskirt area of the capital city, immersed in greenery. One of these events is the 13th Rock in Roma festival. If you're not sure of how to get to the Capannelle, we will let you know. If you get around by car, you should follow Via Appia until the cross roads with Via dele Capannelle (30 minutes from the city centre). Coming from out of Rome, you should take the number 23 exit from the GRA ring road. If you get around by public transport, you should get to the Cinecittà from Termini Station on the Line A of the Metro and then take the 654 bus that makes 5 stops around the Ippodromo. The last bus leaves the first stop at midnight, but when music events are on, the working hours are adapted. If you get to Rome by air and you would like to get to the Capannelle from Ciampino, it's best to take a taxi as the distance is about 3km. By train you can arrive from Termini Station by taking the FM4 train. The last train leaves at 23.05 for the summer season. |
