HOW CAN I FIND THE ACCOMMODATION I’M LOOKING FOR?
You can do a search by city/area filling out the ‘Destination’ fields, ‘Arrival’ ‘Departure’ dates and number of ‘Persons’ present in the box on the left of the BBItalia.it homepage. In a matter of seconds, you’ll be able to see all the cards for available accommodation.
If you already know the accommodation code you can insert it in the ‘Quick Search’ field on the top right of the homepage.
While if you want to do a general search without dates, you can use the map of Italy, click on the links for the main areas or write the name of the area in ‘Quick Search’.

WHERE CAN I FIND ACCOMMODATION PRICES?
You’ll find the exact prices in the card of all accommodation structures that have booking with immediate confirmation. For the accommodation structures with booking ‘on request’ the price is approximate as the final price will be set and sent to you when specifically requested.
All the B&B prices shown refer to the price per person per night. The prices of apartments and holiday homes refer to the entire structure, irrespective of the number of people.

WHAT DO THE CROWNS MEAN?
We have separated our accommodation into three quality groups, called Crowns, according to prestige, location and services offered. For more details check our ‘Conditions’ section on the home page.

DOES PRIVATE BATHROOM MEAN EN-SUITE BATHROOM?
Private bathroom doesn’t necessarily mean en-suite, if it is en-suite it’s specified in the accommodation’s description card. It is however exclusively for guests’ use.

WHAT DOES SHARED BATHROOM MEAN?
If you book accommodation without private bathroom but with a shared bathroom, you share the bathroom with the family and/or other guests.

HOW CAN I CHECK AVAILABILITY OF ACCOMMODATION ON THE SITE?
You can filter the accommodation list by area, neighborhood and places of interest and order the list by price, name, clients’ reviews, location. Your results will show two types of accommodation:

Accommodation that can be booked on line with immediate confirmation.
You can check availability and the definitive price for your chosen period by inserting your arrival/departure dates, the number and type of room from the card. If available you can book straight away and receive immediate confirmation by email.

Accommodation that can be booked on request by sending availability request.
For this type of accommodation immediate confirmation is not available. To check availability and receive an offer, click on ‘Request Availability’ on the accommodation’s description card. Within 24 hours you’ll receive an answer by email, if there is availability you can book straight away and you’ll receive immediate confirmation by email.

HOW CAN I CONFIRM A BOOKING?
1 – For accommodation with immediate confirmation:
Once you’ve checked availability for accommodation that suits your needs, you can book by simply inserting your details and making payment in one of the following ways:
1) Clicking Confirm Order with ‘Credit Card’.
Just fill in your credit card details and your email address. The payment passes through a safe and protected channel for the transmission of sensitive data and is carried out in accordance with maximum safety standards (Protocol ssl3 a 128 bit) Credit card details are never sent to BBitalia.it and are directly managed by the bank, without showing financial details. For each booking carried out, you’ll receive two confirmation emails, one from the bank and one from BBItalia.it. We advise you to print out the page with this information.
2) Clicking Confirm Order with “Paypal”.
3) Clicking Confirm Order with ‘Bank Transfer’ ( only Italian clients ).
You will be able to view the bank coordinates to make the bank transfer. At the same time you will receive an email confirming your option complete with bank coordinates. Once you have made the bank transfer, send a copy by email to bookings@bbitalia.it, you will immediately receive an email confirming your booking.
Just like all airline companies and most tourist booking portals, for us too advance payment represents the best form of security and guarantee for the client as it means having your travel voucher straightaway and confirmation that your chosen accommodation is 100% booked and confirmed

2 - For accommodation on request:
This accommodation is unable to confirm the booking online so the booking request is forwarded to the accommodation which must answer the request within 48 hours. If availability is confirmed, you’ll be asked to pay a deposit at the time of booking. The rest will be paid directly at the accommodation on the day of arrival.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT PAYMENT METHODS?
You can pay by credit card, we accept Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Postepay and prepaid cards, paypal and bank transfer (bank coordinates sent at the time of booking).

WHERE CAN I FIND THE ACCOMMODATION’S ADDRESS, TELEPHONE NUMBER AND EMAIL?
When you have completed the booking procedure you’ll receive an email of confirmation with all the accommodation details including the link ‘how to get there’.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY BOOKING HAS BEEN CONFIRMED?
Once the booking procedure is finished, you’ll receive an email confirming your booking with all the details about the room booked, the accommodation address and the booking code. We advise you to write or print out the page with this information.

I’VE MADE A BOOKING BUT I HAVEN’T RECEIVED AN EMAIL WITH CONFIRMATION, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Check the inbox and spam box of the email address you used at the time of request. Should you not find the email of confirmation you can contact us at bookings@bbitalia.it and we will send you it again.

IS THERE A MINIMUM NUMBER OF NIGHTS FOR BOOKINGS?
Yes, the minimum booking for all accommodation is two nights.

IS THERE A DISCOUNT FOR LONG STAYS?
You can avail of a 15% discount if your booking is minimum 15 days. In this case make your booking request at the Booking Centre by email at bookings@bbitalia.it. We’ll send you a booking form with the price already discounted.

HOW MUCH DO KIDS PAY? ARE THERE DISCOUNTS FOR KIDS?
Children up to 2 years old are free, if there a cot can be added, you’ll find the information in the accommodation description and with the icon ‘Features’. In any case, you must indicate the presence of a child in the fled ‘Notes’ when booking.
Children between the ages of 2 and 6 have a reduction of 50%. If you want to make a booking including children, contact the Booking Centre by email at bookings@bbitalia.it.

I’M TRAVELLING ALONE AND CAN’T FIND SINGLE ROOMS AVAILABLE FOR MY DATES, ARE THERE TWINS THAT CAN BE BOOKED BY ONE PERSON?
Some accommodation accepts bookings of twin rooms for single use. To find out and book, contact the Booking Centre by email at bookings@bbitalia.it. We’ll send you a booking form with personalized prices.

HOW CAN I CANCEL OR MODIFY MY BOOKING?
You can cancel or modify your booking with the links ‘how to cancel a booking’ and ‘how to modify a booking’ that you’ll find in the email you were sent at the time of booking confirmation.
In any case, you’ll receive an email confirming your booking cancellation/modification. BBItalia.it will see to sending an email of cancellation/modification to the booked accommodation.
The relative reimbursement will be calculated based on the cancellation rules which can be seen in the section ‘Conditions’ on the BBItalia.it home page.
BBItalia.it does not accept booking cancellation/modification requests by other means or sent to other email addresses.
Booking cancellation/modification must be performed following one of the two procedures shown above.

HOW CAN I CHECK THAT MY BOOKING HAS BEEN CANCELLED/MODIFIED?
You’ll receive an email confirming your booking cancellation/modification. BBItalia.it will see to sending an email cancelling/modifying the booked accommodation.

WILL I BE REIMBURSED IF I CANCEL MY BOOKING?
Calculations for reimbursement are based on the cancellation rules. You can see details in the ‘Conditions’ section on the BBItalia.it home page.

CAN I REQUEST THE PURCHASE INVOICE IN THE NAME OF MY COMPANY? CAN I REQUEST A MODIFICATION OF THE INVOICE HEADING?

HOW CAN I ORGANIZE MY CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT AT THE SELECTED ACCOMMODATION?
You can let your accommodation know your arrival time with the link ‘already know your arrival time’ that you’ll find in the email you were sent at the time of your booking confirmation. 3 days before your stay, you will also receive an email from orariodiarrivo@bbitalia.it with a link for confirming your check-in time. Any check-in time restrictions are shown on the accommodation card.
Any arrival delays should be communicated directly to the accommodation by email or telephone.
Check-out is usually by 11 a.m. You can ask the accommodation directly about leaving luggage should you need to.

I ALREADY KNOW I’LL BE ARRIVING AT THE ACCOMMODATION AFTER MIDNIGHT, SHOULD I DECLARE THIS BEFORE BOOKING?
In the case of very late arrivals, make sure you’ll be able to check-in by sending us an email at bookings@bbitalia.it before booking.

ARE THERE TIME RESTRICTIONS AND PARTICULAR RULES WHEN STAYING IN A B&B?
All the B&B families with BBitalia.it are extremely hospitable and take into account our clients’ needs including times creating a pleasant, respectful home sharing. Usually you’ll be given the house keys to ensure total freedom. Should the accommodation not leave keys with guests, you’ll find this information in the accommodation description. In any case, you can enter and leave the B&B with total freedom.

WHAT IS THE “NO PROBLEM” INSURANCE and the exclusive “B&B TOP CLIENT” service?
It is an actual insurance policy stipulated with EuropAssistance, the leading European tourist insurance company that starts 24 hours before arrival at the accommodation and lasts the entire length of your stay and covers clients for problems of luggage theft, medical assistance and possible re-entry into country of origin.
