Christmas in Naples 2012. Your Christmas gift

It’s true what they say about ‘seeing Naples and dying’. It’s a breathtaking city from all points of view and especially wonderful during the holiday season, when the best of Naples is on display. The seafront, the sun, the lights, the Castel Dell’Ovo, Piazza del Plebiscito and Caffè Gambrinus…everything takes on new colors. Anyone who has never walked through the historic center of Naples at Christmas time must absolutely treat themselves to a B&B Naples or apartment to spend a few days experiencing this magical atmosphere. The events held during Christmas in Naples 2012 will allow visitors to find something to do all over the city and participate in many activities that will be organized from 8 December until 15 January.

We could create an itinerary together but the best part of visiting Naples is improvising your tour of the city…you could spend hours admiring the nativity statues along San Giorgio a Cremano and join the holiday crowds of tourists that fill this street to admire the craftsmen who perform incredible feats of dexterity. You could also stop into Caffè Gambrinus, sit down in the splendid Liberty style room from where Piazza del Plebiscito can be seen and enjoy a real Neapolitan coffee and pastry. You could also stroll along the seafront and admire the lights and Christmas trees that are unique to the area.

It’s true this is a period of crisis and travel is one of the expenses that can be eliminated but it’s also true that if you have the opportunity to spend little and have a beautiful experience then it’s worth giving up something else and treating oneself to a couple days that you’ll never forget.
