Tuscany, one of Italy’s vastest regions, is a land full of valleys and sloping hills alongside a harsh, mountainous landscape.There are important marble caves at Versilia, Garfagnana and in the Apuane Alps. Piazza del Campo, where the famous Palio is held every year, is dominated by the majestic bell tower from where the city and beautiful Chianti countryside can be admired. San Gimignano is another charming and architecturally rich town in the province of Siena. Arezzo and Lucca like all of Tuscany’s provinces deserve a visit . Tuscany is also famous for its beautiful seaside resorts: Capalbio, Forte dei Marmi, Il Giglio, the Island of Elba, Lido di camaiore, Marina di Massa, Orbetello Viareggio to name but a few. The most important thermal spa resorts in Tuscany are: Bagni di Lucca, Chianciano terme, Montecatini and Saturnia. Tuscany welcomes thousands of guests every year and offers a wide and varied range of accommodation choices.
