Rome is the capital of Italy, city of art and culture, artistic world heritage centre, the heart of Christianity and privileged destination for millions of pilgrims from all over the world. The most famous are the central Fontana di Trevi by Nicola Salvi and the Fontana del Tritone or Fontana dei 4 Fiumi at Piazza Navona by Bernini.
