Valsolda, Apartment LAGO DI LUGANO SAN MAMETE_

This B&B is located in the heart of San Mamete in Valsola where the work by Antonio Fogazzaro (Small Old World and Leila) was set. The Valsolda municipality, together with the municipalities of Porlezza and Tremezzo and the Union of the municipalities of Tremezzina and the Monatana delle Alpi Lepontine Community, have launched the Antonio Fogazzaro Award with an aim to developing the cultural and natural heritage of the Valleys by means of an annual literary competition dedicated to story telling from the springs of Ticino to the shores of Lake Lugano and across to the banks of Lake Como. The apartment is open space with a terrace and has a view of the lake and mountains from the large windows. There is an eating area with kitchenette, a day area with double sofa bed and a night area with double bed, bathroom with shower and tub.
The structure also has a garden with a view of the lake, private parking, pedestrian access to the lake and a dock for boats. In the vicinity there are plenty of places of artistic and cultural interest and nature trails.
