The land of Sennori dominates the Gulf of Asinara from a hight of 227 metres above sea level and from this position it boasts a wonderful view from Porto Torres and Stintino as far as the Asinara coasts and the island of Corsica. The area is characterized by the valley of olive groves, orchards, vineyards and a stretch of Mediterranean scrub full of laurel, myrtle, arbutus berry and butcher’s broom. The nearest airport is Alghero about 30 kilometres from Sassari and it can be reached by bus. 18 kilometres away is Porto Torres, one of the main ports that connects Sardinia with the mainland and from here ferries and private transfer services bring passanges to the island of Asinara, where nature has stayed intact thanks to its isolation for over a century that has made it a heritage site of unique and priceless value. Heading west visitors can enjoy a day at the famous Stintino beach, known as “La Pelosa”, about 30 kilometres away, and visit the pretty Alghero with its Coral Riviera (37 km). The B&B is 6 kilometres from Sassari and 2 kilometres from the centre of Sennori, surrounded by the green olivegroves. It offers guests a twin bedroom and a triple bedroom with private bathroom, TV, refrigerator, microwave oven, blender, toaster and everything needed for breakfast. The owners are happy to show guests around their crafts workshop next to the house and let them see their work.
