Pontone of Scala is a small village at 250 meters above sea level, overlooks the enchanting landscape of Atrani, Amalfi, Ravello, the Gulf of Salerno to Punta Licosa. Path of picturesque narrow streets and stairways,Pontone is still a medieval village, largely rural, which has always in its little square of St. John's welcomes guests who want to enjoy the coolness and tranquility of the place.

The B & B is the ideal place for a vacation that combines sea and mountain, in fact, Pontone is just 15 minutes drive from the center of Atrani and Amalfi, 10 minutes drive from Ravello, located at the trailhead that leads to famous "Valley of the ironworks." The Natural Reserve "Valle delle Ferriere", an example of exceptional beauty, the variety will astound you with its colors, its effects of light, its vegetation, typical alternating zones of tropical countries with those of our more familiar Mediterranean.

The hotel occupies the top floor of the episcopal palace and has a total of six rooms with private bathroom, they are all loft, with local chestnut wood, creating a private sleeping area and living room needed relaxation becomes comfortable bed. All furnished with solid wood furniture in simple lines. Four of these rooms have sea view, a view room inside a room at the medieval cloister and courtyard views. The rich breakfast is served directly in the room, but three of our rooms are equipped to offer guests the opportunity to drink a coffee in complete privacy.

The manager of the B & B, an architect who oversaw the work of recovery of the structure, is available to accompany guests in guided tours to places of interest nearby or in pleasant paths between real historical, architectural off the beaten track, with tasting local wines.
