Mulazzo, Bed & Breakfast LAVAGGIO

In this land of history and tradition, Lunigiana has been inhabited by man since pre-historic times as recently proven by the findings in Groppoli of stone statues that date back to the Bronze Age. These findings can be seen in the local museums. The village of Mulazzo, located on a hill above the left bank of the Magra River, is of historical importance to medieval times. It was one of the oldest seats of the Malaspina Marquis and it is said that Dante, their guest, stayed in the castle tower and it was there that he was inspired to write some verses of the Divine Comedy. This is the region of the hundred castles and the book tradition. Surrounded by unpolluted nature, Lunigiana is a land that moves at a slow pace, far from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
