Mercatello is a little village of the thirteenth century, crossing point along the ancient Orvientana street, once used as a market, as “The Hospitum House of Baglione from Montevibiano” or “Loggiato Vibi”, the owners of those places, shows.
The Bed and Breakfast is housed in an old farmhouse of late nineteenth century, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and sunflower fields. It’s located in an ideal position to reach, in a short time, the principal historical centres of Umbria: It takes only 20 minutes to reach Perugia, Assisi, Todi and 30 minutes to arrive at the Trasimeno Lake.
The farmhouse, entirely of stone, has been recently redecorated, while maintaining the characteristics of the structure. The three rooms, two double and a triple rooms, are furnished in period style, they have their own entrance, en-suite bathroom with shower or bath, air conditioning, kindness set and hair dryer.
Breakfast is served in the big kitchen with fireplace and, during the summer, in the garden, among plants and flowers, with a nice view of hills.
