Cardedu, Bed & Breakfast delizioso a Cardedu

The B&B is a typical rural building, situated a kilometre from the village of Cardedu. Cardedu is found in the Ogliastra region of Sardinia, on the island's eastern coast.

THE ROOMS
B&B is in a granite house built in the 1950s. It has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, with the option of an extra bed for children under twelve. The bedrooms share a bathroom.
The bedroom with a double bed has air conditioning, a living room with a kitchenette for breakfast, a TV, a fridge, a comfy sofa and a fireplace. The bathroom has a shower. In the other bedroom the two single beds can be replaced with a double bed on request.

In the high season the rooms can only be booked as quadruple rooms.

The original stables and chicken-coop can still be seen outside the B&B. In front of the building there is a large courtyard that can be used as a driveway.

BEACHES
The B&B is situated just 2 km (1.2 miles) from the Cardedu Marina beach, and is close to a number of other beaches, such as the Perde Pera, Coccorrocci, Su Sirboni and La Spiaggetta beaches, all of which are within about 5 km (3 miles) from the B&B.

THE LOCAL AREA
The Cardedu area is bursting with fascinating sights, such as the 'heels' (tacchi) of Ulassai and Jerzu (spectacular rocky outcroppings), the 'Su Marmuri' caves, the 'Taquisara' caves, and the old towns of Gairo, Osini and Jerzu, famous for the prestigious Cannonau red wine. The area is full of sandy beaches punctuated by red cliffs and little coves. Some beaches are only accessible on foot or by boat, such as the stunning Cala Luna, Cala Sisine and Cala Goloritzé beaches.
