Calci, Bed & Breakfast EUGENIO III

The district of Calci is in the province of Pisa, half way between the main city and the town of Lucca. In the town, visitors can admire the Romanesque Parish Church and, close by, the Certosa Monastery founded in the XIV century. The B&B is located in a beautiful eighteenth century house that has been restored. It is in the picturesque village of Montemagno. This small, medieval hamlet is surrounded by lovely countryside. Guests are offered a double bedroom and a triple bedroom, both with private bathroom with shower. They are elegantly furnished, cosy and very comfortable. Breakfast is served in the kitchen during the winter months and on the lovely panoramic terrace in the summer. There is communal parking and a play area for kids. The B&B is facing Valgraziosa, with a wonderful view of the town and the city of Pisa which is only 10 minutes away. 2 kms from the accommodation is Certosa di Calci, where visitors will find the Natural History Museum and beautiful interiors of the convent. In the surrounding area, there are riding schools, swimming pool, bicycle hire and natural trails in the mountains for trekking. This place is perfect for a relaxing, fun holiday near the main Tuscan cities like Lucca, Florence and Siena and the main beach resorts like Tirrenia, Marina di Pisa, Viareggio Forte dei marmi etc.
