Savigno, Bed & Breakfast MONTE MAURO

This B&B is located in the municipality of Castello di Serravalle in the Eastern Bolognese Apennines at a height of about 450 metres above sea level. The cool climate and clean air make these places a perfect spot to get away from the summer heat and city smog. Visitors will be charmed by the beautiful scenery of unpolluted hills and mountains. This small house is situated in a small village on the top of a hill called Monte Mauro where guests can enjoy the peace and quiet and the pretty green woods. This is a place where old peasant traditions from long ago and the quality of modern-day life intermingle to create a simple, healthy lifestyle. Guests can avail of a twin bedroom and a single bedroom sharing a bathroom. There is also a double bedroom with en-suite with tub. An old style breakfast is served with wholesome ingredients and as much as possible is home made using food that is in season and from the family's own orchard and fruit garden. The surrounding area is full of places to taste the typical local wines, the famous Savigno truffles and other local traditional specialities. There is plenty of choice for passing the time. There are the pools of Tolè and Savigno. Bologna is 35 km away and Maranello only 23 km.
