Hoteliers Simonetta and Guido provide a warm, family atmosphere and authentic cooking , a charming renovated Tuscan farmhouse in the hills between Siena and Perugia in Tuscany, following “The Green Choice” philosophy. This gay-friendly, ecological bed-and-breakfast offers breathtaking views from comfortable, elegant rooms or the extensive gardens with swimming pool. Come and make friends with our four legged friends.

Casa Bellavista offers a variety of activities from April to September. We have an outdoor pool and Jacuzzi, bocce (like pétanque or bowls), Ping-Pong, a field for soccer and a swing. We also offer cooking classes and tasting sessions of our own extra-virgin olive oil.
LOCATION
The B&B sits on a hilltop near Cortona, in the hills between Siena and Perugia and south of Arezzo. The area has many picturesque towns and villages with medieval and Renaissance architecture and vestiges of the pre-Roman Etruscan civilisation, as well as superb wines and cuisine.
You can reach Cortona and the Valdichiana plain in 15 minutes, and Arezzo, the regional capital with its Roman arena, in half an hour. Siena, the jewel of Tuscany whose spectacular centre is a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a 40-minute drive. Wine buffs can follow tours in Montepulciano and Chianti.
THE GARDEN
Our large garden has a wonderful variety of landscapes to delight the senses, from roses and olive trees to a real pine wood. It offers a stunning panoramic vista for 80 km across the valley, and an outdoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi. This idyllic space can be reserved for weddings if you also stay at Casa Bellavista.
GREEN PHILOSOPHY
We believe in reducing our C02 emissions. We installed solar panels that cover all our energy needs, including heating in winter, and we have a short supply chain with local producers, mostly organic, for fresh produce. We compost, recycle, change linen and towels every three days and use refillable toiletries with environmental certification.
OUR ROOMS
The rooms and suites are furnished with antique furniture and fine finishes, to give comfort and romantic, bright and bucolic atmospheres.

The rooms of the B&B will be able to make a wonderful night out at your Tuscan stay. Three rooms and a suite different from each other, have been designed to meet all needs.

BREAKFAST
We serve a buffet breakfast with home made cakes, organic jams and honey, cold cuts and cheeses, cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurt, and eggs.
DINNER
Simonetta prepares dinner (on request) using local seasonal produce to create traditional Tuscan dishes. THE b&b’s own extra-virgin olive oil and herbs are key ingredients. Served with Tuscan and major Italian wines.
