or lovers of comedy and Gigi Proietti, the actor is returning with his show entitled 'Di Nuovo Buonasera' at the Sistina Theater from the 29th of September until the 6th of November 2011.
The show is returning after sold-out performances in June. Gigi Proietti returns to celebrate his anniversary, in fact it's been 35 years that he has been on stage and performing traditional variety, a mix of jokes, exhilarating dialogues and musical interludes all put on with great class, style and an unbeatable voice.
Over the years the Roman artist has brought to the theatre all his creations, characters that have become fixtures of his repertoire and who have inspired many younger comics. The 'Di Nuovo Buonasera' show strikes you from the very beginning with the atmosphere that Gigi Proietti manages to create and because of the special relation he has with audiences who seem like old friends.
It's precisely this age-old relationship that the actor begins by recalling and which takes us back to the years of the pre-show era, between ballet from the 1930's and swing. He alternates with classic songs like I've got you under my skin done in Roman style with parodies until reaching moments of great romance with Fly me to the moon. Monologues, jokes, classic gags and theatrical sketches mark the high moments of the show revealing Gigi Proietti to be once again a versatile actor, imitator, singer and above all a superb entertainer.
Everything is live, Gigi Proietti is accompanied by a ten-piece orchestra and by his two children. To take advantage of this event we recommend spending a couple of days in Rome, staying in a Roman Bed & Breakfast rome in the center, near the Sistina Theater and enjoying the city: a dinner, a walk and a lot of laughs!
