May Day Concert 2012 in Piazza San Giovanni

There's less than a month until one of the most important musical events of the year: the traditional May Day Concert that is held every year in the historic Piazza San Giovanni in Rome. The title of this year's concert is: Music of Desire - hope, passion and future, a nice title given the times we live in.
To not miss out on the first of May concert we advise you to book in advance one of the Hostels Rome that will allow you to stay in the capital without spending a fortune.
Music, the driving force behind the event, will be the protagonist and will feature 12 classic rock songs by groups including Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Beatles and the Rolling Stones performed by celebrated names of the Italian and international music scene.
The precise line-up of the artists who will perform on the historic Piazza San Giovanni has still not been finalized.
The only name so far is the director of the event, Mauro Pagani ex-member of PFM, a historic Italian band, who directs the Rome Symphony Orchestra.
