The 2 June long weekend in the Cinque Terre |

It's the first real long weekend of the year. 2011 has not been a very generous year and so far has provided few days of real rest, but now is the opportunity on June 2 to enjoy a long weekend away. It's a time to honour the nation which has been celebrated twice this year, once for a civil holiday and now this long weekend.
It's obvious that for this event travellers want to choose one of the most beautiful places in the world: the Cinque Terre. A place where land and sea come together to form a single unique and charming area. There are eighteen kilometres of rocky coastline full of coves, beaches and deep water, and a mountain chain that runs parallel to the coast. The Cinque Terrewere designated a World Heritage Site in 1997. It's a lovely place consisting of small towns facing the sea, all beautiful, all small jewels unlike anything else in the world.
Spending a holiday in a B&B Cinque Terre is truly an experience to be done at least once in a lifetime. The area is famous for the trails that cover the ocean side of the mountain range like a spider web. The trails are all well marked and offer something for everyone, from the easiest to the most difficult, all you need is the right clothing, a good pair of sneakers or hiking boots and you're ready to see a series of romantic and suggestive places that will be hard to forget.
