Devotional painting in Valdelsa" was inaugurated. This exhibition forms part of the cycle "The city of the Uffizi", the brainchild of the director of a major art gallery in Florence, Antonio Natali, in collaboration with the Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze. This series of exhibitions, started in 2008 is meant to disseminate the work of artists born in the Florence area whose art developed during the Renaissance
Castelfiorentino is reachable from Florence in 45 minutes by train and in the fifteenth century was an important cultural meeting place, situated at the crossroads of Via Francigena and the road to Volterra.
