Befana 2012 in Rome is surely one of the most awaited events of the holiday season. While Christmas is an event that is celebrated primarily at home the Epiphany is traditionally spent in the squares. In all of the most important Italian squares events are organized to honor the Befana, but surely Piazza Navona provides this beautiful holiday with something magical which is difficult to find elsewhere.

The day ends with the arrival of the Befana who distributes candy and gifts to the youngest and provides enthusiasm to the adults who can enjoy the unforgettable look in the eyes of all the children on hand to enjoy this event.
