Built on ancient ruins in 1850 by Francesco Cosenza and dedicated to the memory of his mother, Barbara, this B&B is located at Punta Scutolo, in the area of Montechiaro, a village in Vico Equense off the Sorrento main road, about 250 metres above sea level. Located in what could be described as a true strip of paradise, on the Sorrento Peninsula, the building was recently purchased and restored by young local business men and transformed from an old historic manor into elegant tourist accomodation. Situated in one of the most beautiful and intact oasis of Mediterranean scrub, rich with typical vegetation and perfumes, it is an ideal spot for those looking for authentic relaxation surrounded by beautiful nature. All the rooms have air-conditioning, direct outside telephone line, satellite TV LCD, Lan network (Internet access), mini bar and safe. Most of the rooms are overlooking the sea offering a spectacular view. The interior decoration was carried out following a very sophisticated and sombre design, with great attention paid to detail. The rooms are very simply furnished in modern style in elegant shades and are characterized by their originality.
