A recently restored farmhouse surrounded by a wood. It is very nicely furnished with furniture and ornaments from Umbrian tradition and also contemporary art works (indoors there are occasionally exhibitions). From the large windows on the ground floor the house is linked with the exterior, especially with the square in front where there is plenty of activity in the summer. There are two double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and two bathrooms with showers. Breakfast is strictly based on local produce and is made by the owner. It is served in the large dining room in front of the fireplace during the winter months and in the garden in summer. Valtopina is in a great location because from here all the main Umbrian tourist localities are easily reached: Perugia, Gubbio, Spoleto, Trevi and Montefalco are all a 20-30 minute drive away, whie Assisi can even be reached by bicycle.
