Turi is a situated commune to around 30 southeast km in Bari, to a middle altitude of 254 ms around, on the first buttresses of the Murgia barese. The territory, hilly and rich of vegetation, it also favors mild winters with cold days and warm summers, typical climate of the inside areas of the Mediterranean one. The structure, entirely in stone and built in 1875, it fully mirrors the style of the strengthened farms. In fact, they prevail the typical defensive elements, what garitte, loopholes and, first among everybody, the court closed by a tall wall of surrounded on which the main house and the environments of service he/she insists.
Our B&B is an ideal place for the lovers of the calm, nevertheless dista around 2,5 km from the inhabited center, around 12 km from the motorway tollgate nearer than it is that of the Highway A14 of Acquaviva of the Sources. Besides it is in a privileged and strategic position being situated to 1 km to the National Road 172 of the Trullis, that, from the release to the height of Casamassima of the SS 100 Bari-Taranto, continues for Putignano (City of the Carnival) and Alberobello (Capital of the trullis). Finally, thanks to the proximity with the SP 32, in alone 14 km is possible to reach the Caves of Castellana.
The B&B offers 5 independent rooms furnished in style poor art: 1 with bed in castle, 2 matrimonial, 1 triple and 1 quadruple. Every room, to his/her inside, it is endowed with bath with playpen shower, but you/he/she is not equipped of it dries hair. Besides, in every room it is present heaters heating, autonomous conditioned air, digital television with the possibility of the connection satellitare.
The B&B, besides having mountan-bike, it is endowed with a common kitchen whether to be able to have breakfast and, with the consent of the manager, to get organized in autonomy has lunch, suppers and snacks to every time.
Since the structure preserves the popular traditions, it appreciates careful and respectful tourists of the nature and the country rhythms. The owner, manager of cultivations of cherries, recommends the first week of April, period corresponding with the flowering of the cherries and the whole surrounding vegetation.
