On the extreme western point of Sicily, along the route of the Phoenicians, in the seas where Ulysses travelled among salt deposits, fishing nets, islands and coral, lies the province of Trapani with its heritage of nature and history. The B&B is located in the city centre, a few minutes from the old town centre and just 400 metres from the San Giuliano Beach. Guests are offered a double bedroom and a triple bedroom. Both rooms have TV, air-conditioning and a view of the garden. They are nicely decorated and comfortable. Breakfast can be had at the bar. The life of the town still revolves around the sea. Fishing is the main livelihood and coral fishing in the past was an important part of local life. Visitors can admire a beautiful collection of coral works in the Pepoli Museum next to the Annunciation Sanctuary home to the statue of Madonna di Trapani that dates back to the XIV century. Strolling along the streets of the old town centre, visitors can soak up the special atmosphere that numerous cultural époques have created through the architecture and monuments they left behind. There is the Jewish quarter with the Giudecca building and Cavarretta building, that was the old seat of the Trapanese Senate. There is also the Jesuits' college church, St. Laurence's Cathedral and the Purgatory Church which houses the twenty sacred groups of the Trapani "MYSTERIES" that every Holy Friday renew the passion scene and the death of Christ in a majestic procession that lasts for 24 hours and travels through the streets of the old town centre.
