Shopping, cultural and artistic sites can all be reached on foot. Syracuse, an ancient Greek colony, is one of the most important archaeological sites of the Magna Grecia, the ancient Greek settlement in Southern Italy, preserving traces of its glorious past: the Duomo, the baroque façade, the Apollo’s temple, the ruins of the Greek theatre and of the amphitheatre. The sea is 15 km away by car.
