This high-rate B&B is located 3 km away from Spoleto, in a typical Umbrian farmhouse, recently restored. It comprises three large double rooms, one of which is a twin with a wide balcony, carefully furnished with rustic antique furniture. Two bathrooms are shared. Poggiolo lies in a rich mosaic of olive-groves, ploughed fields, vines and meadows crossed by thousands of paths, between Spoleto, a worldwide renowned town, and Montefalco, a medieval hamlet which has experienced a great artistic splendour with the Franciscans. The landlords are prepared to arrange dinners with the typical local specialities on request.
