Trastevere is famous for being the most typically Roman neighbourhood with its narrow streets where visitors can savour the authentic atmosphere of the 1800’s as craftspeople carryout their trade in the same workshops as their predecessors. In the evening, the area undergoes a transformation as the numerous bars and cafés come to life.
The B&B is just a few paces from Lungotevere degli Artigiani, in a quiet street on the first floor of a modern building with lift. Guests can avail of a bright, twin bedroom with separate private bathroom with shower, frigo, Hair dryer, ventilation.
A completely homemade breakfast is served by the pleasant owner in the dining room.
The bus stop just 100 metres away, links the B&B to the old town centre as does the Metro from Trastevere railway station, very convenient for people who get to Rome from Fiumicino airport.
On Sunday morning a few metres away is the famous Porta Portese market.
Cycle track at 20 m. on the Bank of the Tiber Along.

Hormis la qualité des lits (matelas peu épais et bosses nombreuses, sommier à ressorts. On avait le sentiment de dormir sur des lits de camps), l'ensemble était assez bon

Un grand merci à Roberta et Maurizio qui nous ont agréablement reçu.
Le quartier est très bien, les transports et les restaurants qu'ils conseillent sont bien. Superbe grand marché le dimanche matin. Roberta et Maurizio sont attentionnés, de bons conseils. Nous étions un peu géné car Roberta a tenu à assurer notre réveil et nous préparer le petit déjeuner à 4h du mat le jour de notre départ.

Unsere Gastgeber Roberta und Maurizio waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war hervorragend - eben nicht italienisch - mit gutem Kaffee, Brot, Kuchen, Marmelade, Müsli und Obst. Die Unterkunft liegt am Rand von Trastevere, ist aber mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln bestens zu erreichen.
