A fifth-floor B&B with lift just 200 metres from the San Giovanni in Laterano Basilica, the diocese of Rome’s cathedral and the Pope’s official ecclesiastical seat as well as the oldest Basilica in the western world. It is easy to reach the centre with Metro Line A from the San Giovanni station 100 metres from the accommodation or by bus (lines 81, 87, 85) with a bus stop at 50 metres. The B&B is right in the heart of the San Giovanni neighbourhood full of shops and services. Via Appia Nuova is a great shopping street and there is also the characteristic Via Sannio clothes market (like a small Porta Portese). It is bustling with pizzerias, trattorias, restaurants and characteristic pubs. The Bed an Breakfast is easy to get to from Termini Station (three Metro stops), from the Ciampino Airport (thirty minutes, bus + Metro), from Fiumucino Airport (thirty minutes, treno + Metro). Manned, covered parking is available in the garage under the b&b (15 euro a day). Free parking possible on the street.
There are three double bedrooms and one triple bedroom. All the rooms have en-suite bathroom with shower, air-conditioning and TV. Each room is characterized by a different colour from the curtains to the bedspread and towels. Furnished with wrought iron beds and coloured wooden furniture to make guests’ stay as personalized and welcoming as possible. Breakfast is served in the bedroom until 10.30.

Giovanni est un véritable artiste de l'accueil et du renseignement. Il n'a aucun mal à se faire comprendre et à comprendre. Bref un excellent séjour plein d'amabilité. Enfin, un positionnement excellent en matière de transports et de sites.

Für einen 3-4 Tage-Städtetrip nach Rom sehr gut geeignet: Metrostation gleich um die Ecke, zur Bäckerei (ab 8:00 Uhr geöffnet) nur 150 m, Bushaltestelle für verschiedene Linien ebenfalls gleich um die Ecke, Lateran-Kirche (3 Min.) Kolosseum (20 Min) zu Fuß leicht erreichbar, freundlicher Vermieter, reibungslose Abwicklung von Buchung und Bezahlung.
Wir waren recht zufrieden mit dieser Unterkunft, da wir sowieso von früh bis abends auf Erkundungstour waren. Empfehlenswert!

The host has been very kind and helpful and always available on the cell phone. The room has an own bathroom and was very clean. The location of the B&B is pretty good and closed to a metro station and several bus lines. The Closseum and the city is in walking distance.
