This B&B is on the first floor without lift of an elegant building near piazza Barberini, the famous Roman square near Via Veneto, from the Fellini ‘Dolce Vita’ film. In the centre of the square is the Tritone Fountain created by Bernini in 1643; on the Quattro Fontane street nearby is Palazzo Barberini, an example of Baroque-Roman architecture whose construction Maderno, Bernini and Borromini collaborated on. The building houses the national gallery of antique art, which includes works and collections of historic value.

For guests there are two twin bedrooms with en-suite bathroom with shower and a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi and shower. All the rooms have air-conditioning, TV, Internet connection, refrigerator, safe and kitchenette. The décor is elegant and tasteful. Breakfast can be had in the room where everything needed for a self-service breakfast can be found or in the cafè below.
The Barberini Linea A Metro station is 300 metres from the accommodation.

La pulizia della camera non era così eccellente, la prima colazione molto scarsa, dovevi pagare anche l'acqua con cui farti il caffè la mattina! Nel complesso per la vicinanza ottima al centro un buon prezzo!

Durante il mio soggiorno di tre notti e quattro giorni non è passato nessuno per rifare i letti e pulire il bagno. Il proprietario che è stato comunque gentilissimo mi ha detto che l'addetto passava quando magari riposavo, ciò può anche essere vero, ma in ogni caso l'addetto alle pulizie avrebbe dovuto bussare prima di entrare e non ha mai bussato nessuno. Inoltre, ho posato una maglietta su una mensola e l'ho trovata piena di polvere, quindi la pulizia era nulla da tempo. I prezzi del frigobar sono buoni, ma dopo la prima sera non è mai stato ricaricato da nessuno.

Insgesamt waren wir mit dem Zimmer zufrieden, wünschenswert wäre es gewesen, wenigstens einmal die Handtücher zu wechseln und das Badezimmer zu reinigen. ansonsten passt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Un bel endroit très bien situé (on peut faire tout le centre historique à pieds) mais cependant bruyant car les fenêtres sont peu epaisses et la rue reste très fréquentée même au petit matin.
L'hôte est cependant très agréable et malgré un surbooking, il nous a trouvé une solution rapidement.
A conseiller pour un séjour court si promo
