Bed and Breakfast located in the elegant attic of a prestigious and historic elevator building near Via Veneto, the street made famous by the cinema of Fellini and which was the hot spot during the ‘dolce vita’ period. It is close to numerous bus stops and 400 meters away from the Barberini subway station (line A). The apartment was recently completely restored and is decorated with refined antique furniture by the proprietress who is a designer. Available to guests is a bright bedroom with private bath with shower. Breakfast is served in the living room during winter and on the flower filled terrace during summer. The last ramp of stairs leading to the accommodation is without an elevator.

Une très bonne adresse que ma femme et moi recommandons vivement. Nous ne chercherions pas plus loin si nous devions retourner à Rome. Nous y avons passé 4 nuits et en garderons un excellent souvenir: - une hôtesse très gentille, arrangeante (pour l'arrivée et le départ), disponible mais très discrète (je précise que la chambre se trouve dans l'appartement de Mme , alors qu'en France, on trouve fréquemment des chambres d'hôtes dans un bâtiment à part) - une excellente situation géographique (à 2 pas de la via veneto, 15' de la gare et 15' à pied de la fontaine de Trevi par ex.) dans un quartier calme et agréable - un très bon petit déjeuner en terrasse (le temps le permettait) - une chambre, certes un peu petite, mais très agréable (les lits étaient même refaits en notre absence) avec une excellente literie.

It's a great place to be, very nice bedroom and appartment. The owner is really nice and always ready to help you. The location is great, very close by all major attractions and metro stations. I strongly recommend this place for those who like it nice and quiet.

Bien situé, à proximité des bus et du métro. La chambre est spacieuse et confortable, très propre. Le petit déjeuné sur la terrasse est un vrai régal.... et Paola s'attache à une très grande présentation. Paola est discrète, aimable et très agréable et de bons conseils. Die Dame des Hauses ist Innenarchitektin, dementsprechend stilvoll die Einrichtung - Appartement im obersten Stock (Lift bis zum volretzten Stock!) mit Dachgarten und relativ separiertem Bereich für die Gäste (Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett u. TV, Bad); relativ zentral in ruhiger Gasse gelegen. Auf individuelle Wünsche wird eingegangen - zB Zeit und Art des Frühstücks. Sehr sauber. Hilfe bei Besichtigungsplänen, Internetbereitstellung. Die Dame des Hauses hat sogar jeden Tag unserem Gepäck hinterher telefoniert, das wegen eines Streiks am Flughafen in Rom erst fünf Tage später bei uns ankam. Einziges Manko für Besucher ohne Italienisch-Kenntnisse: Die Dame des Hauses spricht nur wenig Englisch.

We had such a lovely time.....our host Paola, was very kind and made us feel so welcome. The accommodation was just perfect, clean, light, authentic and beautiful. The location was great too, just a 5 minute walk to the Spanish steps, in fact we explored everywhere on foot. I would recommend this B&B to anyone. Thank you Paola for looking after us over the 4 days and so sorry we had to leave in such a hurry and that we didn't have time to say good bye properly! (We were late for our plane).
