Pantelleria, known for its centrality in the Mediterranean Sea, is an island of volcanic origin with a unique landscape: besides the natural elements of block lava flows, coves and cliffs, there is also impressive man-made sights: for example the dammusi homes built with thick stone walls and white domed roofs with arched windows. This independent dammuso accommodation is in the hamlet of Bugeber, above the Lake of Venus. The hosts are a young couple who have created three independent dammusi around their primary residence (see also codes S278 and S279) with the following: living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom with shower, TV, air conditioning, private terrace with bamboo roof and deck. There is also a stunning view over the lake and the sea! It is without a doubt one of the most beautiful views on the island. Andrew and Anna, the hosts, will be happy to pick guests up at the airport or port and show visitors where to rent a car or scooter, which is essential for visiting the island. During the second week of July and throughout August there is a minimum stay of 6/7 nights.
