Maiori is a small, characteristic village situated on the Amalfi coast on the edge of the Tramonti valley between Amalfi (5 Km) and Salerno (18 Km). The town is popular with tourists and besides a great view guests can count on one of the longest beaches in the area that was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Maiori has many monuments worth visiting including Palazzo Mezzacapo, Collegiata di S.Maria a Mare, S.Nicola de Thoro-Plano Castle, and the S. Maria Olearia monastery. It ideally positioned and offers great excursions to places full of art and culture such as Amalfi, Ravello, Capri, Pompei, Paestum, Positano and to the islands in the Gulf of Naples. Naples airport is 70 km away and from there travelers can take a train to the central station in Naples and then on to Salerno which is 15 km from the accommodation. There is bus service from Salerno or pick up can be arranged with the proprietor. The B&B is 100 meters from the sea, on the fourth floor of an elevator building. There are three comfortable and spacious rooms available all tastefully decorated and equipped with private bath, hair dryer, TV, air conditioning and heating. Breakfast is traditional and includes: coffee or tea, milk, bread, yogurt, croissants, and plum cake. It is served with care and kindness in the dining room. Guest parking is available for a small fee.
