This B&B is named after an old ox cart in the square that dates back some 130 years. It is located in the city of Iglesias, famous for the large concentration of mines where lead, zinc, and silver were once extracted in great quantities. Iglesias is also one of the oldest cities in Sardinia. The old town dates back to medieval times and the Pisan walls date from the period of Pisan colonization and can still be seen. The Bed and Breakfast is located on the outskirts of Iglesias along the road to Villamassargia. The great variety of Mediterranean vegetation and unforgettable fragrances make B&B Su Carru Boi an ideal place to spend a holiday relaxing and enjoying the large veranda that allows guests to admire the sunset on warm summer evenings. All the rooms have air conditioning, private bathroom, TV, and parking. Furniture is in typical Sardinian style and the many carpets create a very comfortable environment that mirrors the tranquility of the landscape. The hearty and nutritious breakfast is served in the dining room and is one of the highlights of the day. A few minutes away from the B&B by car are the beautiful beaches of sulcis still greatly untouched by man and free of cement.
