The B&B is situated in the most charming residential area of Florence, next to the historical city centre, only a few minutes from Santa Maria Novella Train Station and within walking distance of the historic city centre of Florence and all its most important tourist attractions.
It is surrounded by beautiful buildings dated 1900 and the large garden of Fortezza da Basso.
Guests can make use of the kitchen at any time to make a coffee, tea and a small lunch or dinner. The Internet service adsl 24 hours is free of charge. Car park available in the same street. Bookings for the Uffizi Gallery, Accademy Gallery and Palatina Gallery are made free of charge. Very good suggestions on what to see and do in and around Florence like a day in the wine country, a visit to Siena and San Gimignano, Pisa. The “Leone X” is certainly the ideal place for visiting Florence and its surroundings first of all bacause Alessandro and Maria offer warmth and spontaneity so that your stay will be like a stay at home away from home.

By car: Highway exit “Florence north” or “Florence South”, follow directions to “centro” (city centre), by Piazza della Libertà take Via Lorenzo il Magnifico and than turn left in after the trafic light in Via Leone X.

On foot from the Central Railway Station of Santa Maria Novella you only need to follow Via Nazionale straight down. About ten minutes on foot.

 By plane
From the airport: there are shuttle services from Florence and from Pisa airport to the Central Station of Florence. You can also contact the B&B Leone X to arrange a private driver (not included).
