This B&B is situated in an important historical Florentine building dating back to the XV century. The renaissance building houses a beautiful fresco with St. Joseph, the Madonna and Child on the ground floor. The structure was enlarged in the XVIII century by the Capponi Marquis, a famous noble Florentine family. In the XIX century the building was again transformed in neo-renaissance style. The interiors still preserve important paintings and frescoes. The building can also be reached by means of the pretty back garden (Lungarno Sederini). There are two triple bedrooms and three twin bedrooms. All the bedrooms are spacious and stylishly decorated and have en-suite bathroom with shower and satellite TV. The reception is open from 8 a.m to 1 p.m and from 3 p.m to 7p.m

 Très bien situé tout près du centre historique, Mais chambre au "lustre" TRES ancien !!! Du temps où l'aspirateur n'existait pas !! Odeurs de cigarette partout car le veilleur de nuit fume à l'intérieur. Un bon point: le ticket pour le petit déjeuner, la pâtisserie est accueillante et les viennoiseries délicieuses

Chambre très calme, bien située. Je recommande ce B&B pour des week-ends découverte de Florence. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas prévu sur place mais un ticket nous permet de prendre une boisson chaude + viennoiserie au bar au coin de la rue. (A ce sujet, le croissant à la crème est excellent !). Je retournerai volontiers dans ce B&B.

Wir haben kein Frühstück bekommen, war das nicht im Preis inbegriffen? Ansonsten hat es uns sehr gut gefallen.

The room was magnificent, the host was courteous. We had to ask for the breakfast which was not available on the premises, but we got a coupon to go to the corner store and get a roll and coffee. We didn't starve, but this could have been better.
