Mangiatoia di Cortona gets its name from the trough located inside that was used in the past by mountain travelers in Cortona. The apartment was in fact originally a place where people could rest their horses before entering the walls of the city. Carefully restored and rendered very comfortable thanks to the work of local artisans Mangiatoia today, as it did, then, welcomes everyone visiting the marvelous city of Cortona. The apartment was restructured in 2009 in typical Tuscan style that includes exposed wood ceilings.
