Surrounded by the peaceful countryside just 4 kms from the medieval town of Lucca, this accommodation is a completely restored, typical rustic-style peasant construction with its characteristic wooden ceilings and arches still intact. While staying in this B&B, guests can enjoy walks in the open green spaces, bicycle trips to the town of Lucca or visits to the wonderful historical buildings like Villa Mansi, Villa Reale and Villa Torrigiani, to name just a few. From the centre of Capannori (100 metres ) visitors can make use of a handy shuttle service to the centre of Lucca, or else get a bus to Florence, Pisa, Viareggio or Montecatini Terme. There are pubs, nightclubs and bars open until late as well as typical restaurants, a swimming pool (just 500 metres from the b&b), tennis courts, five-a-side pitch and horse-riding. The B&B has 4 cosy bedrooms, each with satellite TV and the possibility of adding an extra bed. There are two spacious bathrooms. Private parking is available. There is also a fully equipped kitchen which guests can make full use of. A breakfast of tasty local specialities and lovely homemade jams and honey is served by the owner in a spacious, romantic living room – dining room in winter and in the courtyard in summer. Taking part in the “BENVENUTI IN TOSCANA” b&b organization, it is possible to find typical products from the area like oil, wine, jam and honey. The family is happy to give advise on where to find the best Tuscan restaurants and nightlife. Nature lovers will enjoy long walks in the surrounding hills. The owners can let visitors know which are the most pleasant routes to take including the very famous historical villas where many Hollywood films have be made.
The bus stop is within walking distance and the centre of Lucca is a 20 minutes bus ride. It does not run on holidays.
