Travelling towards Bari’s outback, plunged into the vast countryside of Murgia, the rustic landscape starts to become speckled with spots of grey and white. Here the characteristic Trulli appear, ancient buildings fashioned from dry stone. They get denser once reaching Alberobello, a recognized UNESCO world heritage site. The Trulli, unique buildings in the world, have millenary origins. The fairy tale conical roof props up the local panorama and on which archaic magical symbols are etched. The symbols have pagan, Christian and peasant origins.

 Vielleicht sollte man die genaue Adresse nochmal überprüfen, da die Unterkunft nicht direkt in Alberobello ist, sondern in Corregio, Richtung San Marco.
