Agrigento, the main city in the province of the same name in Sicily is famous world wide for its archaeological site of the Valley of the Temples that has been declared a world heritage site by Unesco. About four kilometres from the old town centre and two kilometres from the Valley of the Temples, we find the birthplace of the Italian play writer, Luigi Pirandello of international fame. About 10 kilometres from Agrigento is the town of Porto Empedocle from where boats leave for the Pelagie Islands. The B&B is in Villaggio Mosè, the commercial heart of Agrigento. It is in a villa surrounded by countryside and is peaceful and private with large outside spaces and a large swimming pool surrounded by Saracen olive trees. For guests there are four double bedrooms and two triples. All the rooms have private bathroom, air-conditioning, TV and balcony. The rooms are spacious, bright and nicely decorated. An extra bed can be added to every room, making them quadruples. Breakfast is served in the dining room or in the villa's garden.
